Steam/air-atomizing nozzle
Steam/Air nozzle is designed for spraying liquids including fuels with high viscosity and high abrasive particles content.
Application
- Atomizing of liquid fuels: heavy fuel oil (HFO), water-fuel emulsions
- Atomizing of fuel slurries: coal-water slurry from coal and coal sledge
- Atomizing of different liquids containing
- Atomization of different liquids, including those that contain abrasive particles.
Nozzle Design
The nozzle consists of two elements: the trunk and spray itself. Nozzle trunk is similar to the trunk for traditional steam-mechanical nozzles.
The spray head is not folding, it has NO replaceable elements. Spray head is implemented as separate element connected to the trunk by threaded connection. Spray design absolutely avoids abrasive wearing of working chamber.
How it works
The principle of operation is based on gas-dynamic impact of nozzle jet on the jet of free flowing liquid.

Advantages
1. Low dependence from fuel temperature and viscosity. Opportunity to work with high-viscosity fuel.
2. Successful results of using fuel with abrasive additives.
3. Shortening the length of the torch.5. Стабилизация воспламенения топлива за счет образования постоянной зоны разряжения внутри конуса распыла.
4. Reduces NOx on 15-20%.
5. Exclusion from the fuel pump circuit second lift pumps and additional CWS or HFO heaters:
- energy consumption savings by reducing the pressure of fuel on nozzle till 0,05-0,5 MPa;
6. Easy to use, requires no spare parts and consumables.
